Fellow Catholics, have you lost faith!?

The body of Christ can surely resist any desecration by a mere man! I have faith, that when he attempts to even desecrate even one of his holy organs, the magical body/food will FLY away! And it will viciously attack and smite him with its supernatural godly powers! So do not worry, let god do his thing. God is letting this happen, who are we to interfere?

One harmlessly sarcastic comment defending the Holy Eucharist is, by far, exceedingly more honest and more honorable than the volumes of the pseudo-intellectual-speak being posted in opposition to the sacrament. If I had thought you were serious about what you said I would have said something myself. I realized that you were commenting in a sarcastic way on Professor Myers crude statement on the same subject.

Sometimes we all have been guilty of saying or doing things that on second thought might not have been such a good idea. I have done it myself. The one great thing is that there is always forgiveness when we are contrite about it.

No offense taken, timglass, and I’m sorry if my post wasn’t clear enough. I laughed on and off for a good while after reading your post (come now, that very sentiment occurred to how many of us?). I felt guilty afterward and hoped that Jesus saw beyond the anger (and who wouldn’t be angry) and at least smiled at your great love for him. God Bless.

Opus, considering the gravity of the situation, I doubt very seriously that Jesus found what I said amusing (He may not have found it amusing in a lighter situation).

I was just quoting the Myers guy and though it wasn’t a christ-like thing to say, It was said in the sarcastic- tounge-n-cheek mode.

It should have not been said at all, for God is the great avenger, and He will give Mr. Myers his recompense.

I’m sorry if what I said offended you, or anyone else and I’m very sorry if it offended my Lord.

Evidently the professor has no problem desecrating the real presence of Jesus Christ but is quite afraid to mess with the Koran. This man needs all the prayers that he can get. The story just gets crazier the more I hear about it.

He compares desecrating the Koran with desecrating a graveyard. Hmm desecrating the body and blood of Jesus Christ is not as bad as desecrating a “graveyard”. This man is nuts! He doesn’t have to agree with the Catholic Church, but he should respect our beliefs.
