I found this interesting article on an Orthodox Christian website. The Orthodox Churchs have very much the same views on Mary as the Catholic Church does. They agree that the Old Testament Kingdom prefigures the New Testament Kingdom of Jesus Christ. The Queen Mother in the Old Testament played a central role in the Kingdom. She was often an intercessor between the people and the King. The King of the OT honored his Mother so much that he took special consideration of her requests. In much the same way Jesus honors his mother Mary. This is a must read for Catholic and Non-Catholics alike. It gives you a much clearer view of the Biblical role of Mary in the Kingdom of Jesus Christ.

This prophecy sounds a lot like Luke 1:48.
Psalm 45:6-18:
“…the Queen takes her place at your right hand in the gold of Ophir….So shall the King desire your beauty, for He is your Lord, and you must worship Him…I will make your name (the Queen’s) memorable throughout all generations, and all nations shall praise you forever and ever.”
Mary is truly the Queen Mother of the Kingdom of Christ. The teaching is thoroughly Biblical.
